I've been published!!!

I was so excited to find out that one of my layouts was going to be in the May 2013 issue of Cricut Simple and Stylish! My layout is shown in the "All about baby" section of the magazine!!!

That's my sweet little Leah! I love those chubby little baby cheeks:) It's hard to believe that she was only 11 days old in these pictures. It goes by so fast.
Anyway, Thank you to Northridge publishing for picking one of my layouts!

I'm Back!

It's been too long since I last posted something! With school, birthday's, and many other family things, it just got too busy! Before I knew it, a whole month had gone by.
I thought I would show you a layout that I had scrapped a little while ago:

For the background I used some My Minds Eye 'Miss Caroline' paper. All the other papers are from their 'The Sweetest Thing' collections. Both of those collections are so versatile! They work for family, girly, everyday, and even fall! I love it! I stamped a flourish on the background and embellished it with some little rhinestones. The little birdcage is a cut from my Cricut Imagine Lori's Garden cartridge.
I love how this layout turned out, and it's one of my favorite pictures of my daughter Hannah! I hope everyone has a good weekend! TFL!

I'm a stack-a-holic!

Hello everyone:) I'm back with a layout I created for the August stack-a-holic sketch challenge! I love DCWV paper, and I think their stacks keep getting better and better! So, without further adieu, here is my layout!

I used the "Little Miss" stack! I was so excited to get my hands on it!
I'm not the best with sketches, but I enjoy the challenge! I really like how it turned out, and I got these pictures scrapped of my oldest daughter that are a couple years old! Yay!!!
TFL! Bye!

Happy 1st Birthday Leah, and a layout!

Hello everyone! Yesterday we celebrated our baby girls 1st Birthday! It was bittersweet. We had fun watching Leah open presents, Dig into her very own smash cake, and reminisce over the last year:) I cant believe how fast the year flew by.

I just love her little pink icing covered face!
And now on to scrappy things! I thought I would show a baby layout of Leah:)

I used the Linen and Lace stack from DCWV. I just love that paper! I hope everyone is having a happy Sunday! Thanks for stopping by!

Time fly's

I can't believe how fast the summer is flying by! We have had a pretty laid back Summer, and it's been so nice! We have had lots of fun swimming in the pool lately...

We have had some squirt gun fights...

And just enjoying being outdoors...

These pictures were taken in the evening because it has been too hot to play outside during the day!
I hope you all are enjoying your Summer!!! Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas in July!!!

Ha ha! I know it is just a little very early for a Christmas post, but I don't scrap in order, and I am REALLY bad about scrapping holidays! I like too scrap the 'everyday' moments the most. I was pretty proud of myself though, because I recently made a Christmas layout! Yay! So, here it is...

I guess it's not an overly Christmasy (Is that even a word?) layout! Hee-hee!
The picture is of my oldest and youngest daughters! I love those sweet faces:) All of the paper is DCWV except for the 'note' paper tucked under the photo. I believe that came from KandCompany. Thanks for stopping by! Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think!

I LOVE woodgrain paper!!!

Hello there! I'm back with another layout to share! Woodgrain  has been a major trend in scrapbooking for a little while now, and I must say, I did not love it at first! I  didn't know what to do with such masculine looking paper (having 3 girls and all). Then I started seeing some beautiful layouts made by some very talented scrappers! Their scrapbook pages looked feminine and  soft:) Needless to say, I have jumped on the woodgrain band wagon! Ha! Here is one of my layouts using woodgrain paper as a background.

Used all DCWV papers with this layout along with some fancy pants chipboard letters and some random embellishments from my stash! I'm linking this page up to the pink elephant challenge blog! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Sunday!!!

Hello again! Just a quick post today! I hope everyone is having a good weekend! We have been getting some things done around the house! We also enjoyed a fun morning at church, but we are all pretty tired now:)
Here is a quick layout I completed recently!

These pictures are from a couple years ago, and I'm just now getting them scrapped! Well, I am a SLOW scrapper, and I don't go in order either! That's ok though! At least I have some of my memories documented!
I used some more MME papers that I distressed a bit for texture. I cut out circles and the title with my Cricut, and added some buttons from my stash! TFL and happy Sunday!!!

Happy 4th of July!

Okay, okay, I know it's July 6th, but better late than never right? Ha! We had a fun 4th! We spent the day with family and enjoyed some yummy BBQ, lawn games, swimming , and of course, Fireworks!!!
Now on to scrappy things! I have been trying to challenge myself with my scrapbooking. One of the things I have been wanting to do more of is two page layouts! I usually am a 12x12 scrapper, but I think two pagers are great for those times when you have a lot of pictures you want to scrap of one event or day. I had a lot of pictures of a day we spent at Pismo beach, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to stretch my creativity and do a two page layout!

I love those pictures! We had such a fun day playing in the sand and waves! The papers I used are mostly from the My Minds Eye Sweetest thing collection. The green/blue paper and the paper used for the butterfly's is DCWV. The cardstock is Colorbok. I inked the edges and embossed the die cut sun with my cuttlebug! The butterfly's are from my new Martha Stewart punch that I LOVE!!! The flourish, title and sun were all cut with my Cricut expression!
I have been getting to scrap a lot lately so I have many more layouts to share! I will be back soon:) Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Friday!!!

I'm back again with another layout to share! This one is made with the DCWV Butterfly stack papers! These papers are so gorgeous, and feminine! My oldest daughter Hannah is a girly girl through and through, so these papers are perfect for scrapping photos of her:)

I just love the gold foil in those papers! I layered the papers a bit and distressed and inked them. I also embellished the layout with some Recollections bling and flowers!
I'm off to have some family BBQ time! Thanks for stopping by and have a nice weekend!

A beach layout!

Hello again! I'm back with  another layout to show you! I made this one way back in November for the DCWV stack-o-holic  challenge! The DCWV blog holds a sketch challenge every month, and they are so much fun to do! I even made it in the top ten for this one! Woo-hooo!

I had a lot of fun with this sketch, and I think it translated well with my beach pictures! I popped up my banner with adhesive foam, and layered most of my die cuts for added dimension:) Thanks for looking!

Some yummy layouts to share!!!

Hello every one in blog land! I'm back to share some of my latest layouts:) This post has quite a few pictures, so bear with me!
This first layout was made mostly with the Dear Lizzy Neopolitan collection by American Crafts. I love how easy that line is to work with!

I love how colorful that layout is! Its so cheerful:) It goes great with the picture of my daughter playing in the water, don't you think? This next layout is one of my all time favorites! I used mainly My Minds Eye, Miss Caroline collection. I just love me some MME papers!

I just love that wood grain paper! The picture of my two youngest daughters is a favorite too! If you have any questions or just want to say hi, be sure to leave a comment! I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for stopping by!
